It’s getting into custom for me to sign at least one NDA each day. Ah, paperwork..
My post regarding finding the right iPhone developer (from developer’s perspective) got noticed by Odesk and it seems to be interesting for people so I’m posting it here. You may digg it to make it more popular.
I didn’t post about it here in my personal blog - but will do now - “making iCombat” blog is a story of our client from New York who is making an iPhone tanks game with us and it would be interesting to read especially for those who are going to outsource their software development for first time.

This information makes me think that people’s estimations on outcomes of the current credit crunch situation are very optimistic.

Sphere: Related ContentI was always looking for a free and easy to use software allowing to create Gantt charts which are very handy in project management and time management.
And now there is a perfect match, an open source GanttProject, you can download the software here:

Very easy to use and install, I have installed it and created a chart for my project in 15 minutes, then exported it into PNG file. Cheers to the development team!

Sphere: Related ContentLast Saturday I’ve been to Belgorod, which is a city quite close to Kharkov (2 hours drive), the only thing it is in Russia. We’ve been visiting my friend with whom we have studied in Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics.
Belgorod is quite an interesting city, it’s quite small as for me, I’ve associated it with Southampton, but it is growing and the roads and city lights are in perfect order compared with my city Kharkov, where the situation with this stuff is very bad.
I think that Kharkiv - Belgorod is a very prospective region from the economic point of view due to the geographical situation of these cities placing them in a trade route between Russia and Europe (through Ukraine). There are also plans (and $1.5bn investments) to build an international airport in two years between our cities. It is therefore would be a good investment to buy property within both cities’ limits and also along the motorway (which is also a route to Moscow and from Russia to Crimea).
At the photo: nice toilets in Belgorod (good idea with the head suspender :))
Sphere: Related ContentI meet friends who show me their new offices, how they have developed while I’ve been doing PhD in UK. However when I ask them who do you work with, they tell me - this guy who worked with you earlier does this for us, and that guy you had given us the contact does that. Either our world is a small village or I’m very good in finding proper people for certain IT jobs.
